Volume control cartridge

The Danze 1/2” thermostatic mixing valve extension kit is designed to provide up to 1 1/4” of

additional wall depth adjustment.

A) If the distance from the back of mounting plate to the finished wall surface is between 3 11/16”~4

3/16”, you need to use the extension kit A.

B) If the distance from the back of mounting plate to the finished wall surface is between 4 3/16”~4

9/16” , you need to use the extension kit B.

1. Remove the existing stem extension by

removing the Phillips screw. Extract volume

control cartridge from valve: grasp shank

with wrench and carefully pull volume

control cartridge straight out of socket.
